Meet council's homes team

First published in News

THURROCK Cou-ncil is giving residents the chance to meet senior housing managers as part of its new Housing Investment Forum.

The forum offers tenants the chance to find out more about plans to improve the quality and standard of council homes in a series of themed sessions.

The first of these, covering housing’s capital programme and the introduction of a higher standard for homes in Thurrock, is at the Civic Offices, in New Road, Grays, on Thursday, January 31, from 6pm to 8.30pm.

Sessions will follow in February focusing on repairs and thermal efficiency initiatives.

To find out more, or to attend on January 31, call the tenant participation team on 01375 754608 or e-mail housing.issues@thurrock.gov.uk

Needless to say the Council Staff will be paid leadsamoney for their really hard work that evening..what will it be?
Double time, time and a half with an extra couple of days off for "Putting themselves out".
I will be there with bells on and see what they plan for my area..that will be interesting because we get empty promises and nothing else!

Would you rather they did this during the day when most people are at work. I do get fed up with people making pointless and stupid comments, such as the one above.
