VIDEO: Radio star's bid to be best blogger

Could this video be a winner for a radio star?

The video, created by radio presenter Veena V from Chafford Hundred, has been created as the 25-year-old bids to become the voice of a popular publishing company.

Mira Ink are running the competition as they seek a new blogger. Veena who used to host an Asian radio show that brought in over 100,000 listeners, is being judged on where the video is put up and on how many hits it attracts.

The radio star, whose career began at Oxford 109.7 FM when she was just 16, has interviewed some of the biggest names in music.

While hosting her own show on Club Asia, Veena interviewed the likes of Nicole Scherzinger, Rebecca Ferguson and Alesha Dixon. She was also named Channel 4 Radio Presenter of the Year in November 2008.

Since then, Veena has worked on various TV channels inlcuding Wedding TV Asia to host their flagship programme “The Shaadi Show”.

She currently works as a freelance radio and TV presenter and is looking to her next challenge which would see this Thurrock girl become the voice of Mira Ink, a company that specialise in teen fiction.
