THURROCK Council is making the most of Twitter this Christmas.
The authority is using the social networking site for its version of an Advent calendar, tweeting relevant information every day.
The tweet on Saturday, December 1, was to remind people to wear a red ribbon for World Aids Day and Monday’s promoted this year’s pantomime at the Thameside Theatre.
The council will also be using the service to let followers know when its road gritting lorries will be on the streets.
