GRAYS Athletic have been knocked out of the FA Trophy after suffering a 2-0 defeat to Cray Wanderers in their first qualifying round replay.

Jamie Stuart's side welcomed the Kent side to Parkside having been pegged back in the last minute of the initial tie.

Grays were in the driving seat, having claimed a 2-1 lead going into the dying moments.

But a last minute equaliser proved critical, as Grays were unable to book their place in the next round of the competition.

Lea Dawson put the away side in front after just 11 minutes.

And although the hosts pushed for a leveller, the tie was put beyond Grays as Michael Power found the back of the net on 66 minutes.

Having gone out of the FA Cup and FA Trophy, Stuart's side will now focus on climbing into the Isthmian North's top 10.

Grays Athletic: Johnson, Fowler, Cross, Cogan (Zuhdu 67'), Halle, Muguo, Folkes, Cole, Bishop (Ibe 46'), Monsheju, Carlos (Brown 71')
