BOWLS: Four Thurrock players won the National Mixed fours at Worthing.
The players were Elaine Score and Ann Score from United Services, and Gerry Bone and Ray Bone from Pegasus.
Their title never looked in doubt as they stormed into the final having only completed one game - the semi-final.
The team only started playing together this season, and they have brought the title back to Essex for the first time since 2000.
