Essex-born football star Max Dowman has been awarded with three Guinness World Record titles – all before turning 17.

The Arsenal midfielder, born in Chelmsford, was recognised for breaking a series of age-related records across top-level English and European football.

His records include becoming the youngest Champions League player at 15 years and 308 days, the youngest Premier League goalscorer at 16 years and 73 days, and the youngest player to win the Premier League at 16 years and 144 days.

The records are featured in the newly released Guinness World Records Football Edition 2027, highlighting Dowman’s rapid rise from Billericay Town to the Arsenal academy.

He joined Arsenal’s under-18s aged 13 and became the UEFA Youth League’s youngest-ever scorer at 14.

Dowman also became the youngest player to appear in Premier League 2 at the same age.

He made his first-team debut in a pre-season match against AC Milan in Singapore in July 2025, aged 15.

He made his Premier League debut as a substitute against Leeds United on August 23, 2025.

He became the competition’s second-youngest player, behind Arsenal teammate Ethan Nwaneri.

Dowman made his Champions League debut on November 4, 2025, as a substitute in an away win over Slavia Prague.

He scored his first Premier League goal with a solo effort in the 97th minute of a 2-0 win over Everton.

He also became Arsenal’s youngest-ever starter when he faced Brighton in the EFL Cup aged 15 years and 302 days.

Despite his footballing success, Dowman sat his GCSEs this year and collected his results from Brentwood School on August 20.

He thanked teachers Mrs Crowley, Mr Gamester and Miss Antonello for their "kindness, support and encouragement."

England international and fellow Arsenal team-mate Declan Rice called Dowman "the best 15-year-old in the country".

Arsenal secured their first Premier League title in 22 years in May 2026, with Dowman becoming the competition's youngest ever winner.
