CONCORD Rangers and Bowers & Pitsea are facing tricky tests on the road tonight, while Canvey Island will be looking to make home advantage count.

Danny Scopes’ Concord are set to make the trip to Twerton Park to face Bath City in their FA Trophy second round replay.

The encounter was originally due to take place 14 days ago, but a waterlogged pitch resulted in the Beach Boys having to make the long journey back from Somerset without setting foot on the turf.

Following the postponement, the rearranged meeting was also called off last week.

Both Concord and Bath will be hoping it will be third time lucky as they seek to advance in the competition.

The Beach Boys have never reached the third round of the FA Trophy, so Scopes’ side will be looking to make club history.

Bath head into the contest having suffered their heaviest defeat since September 2003 at the weekend.

The Romans were consigned to a 7-0 thumping by Wealdstone, which ended their 12-game unbeaten run.

The winners of tonight’s clash will host Leamington in the third round.

Meanwhile, Bowers are due to head to Cheshunt for an Isthmian Premier League battle.

Rob Small’s Bowers have suffered back-to-back defeats and will be seeking to get back to winning ways.

Cheshunt, who are managed by former Billericay Town boss Craig Edwards, are two places and seven points worse off than Bowers in the standings.

Bowers could leapfrog Bishop’s Stortford and move into 15th spot with a win.

Canvey will welcome Cambridge City to Park Lane for an Isthmian North encounter.

The Gulls lost ground on the top five following their defeat to Soham Town Rangers at the weekend, so Mark Bentley will be looking for an immediate reaction.
