A TITLE-WINNING trio have departed Bowers & Pitsea.

Fahad Nyanja, Matt Lock and Khadean Campbell will not be among boss Rob Small’s options in Bowers’ first season in the Isthmian Premier League.

Nyanja enjoyed two spells with the Isthmian North champions last term.

Although he departed for local rivals Basildon United early in the campaign, Nyanja returned to the Len Salmon Stadium soon after and made a total of 19 appearances as Bowers finished 12 points clear at the top of the standings.

Nyanja also scored one goal, which came in the thumping 6-0 home victory over Brentwood Town in March.

Experienced midfielder Lock has left the club just a matter of months after coming out of retirement to join Bowers.

With Small short of midfield options due to a succession of injuries and suspensions, the Bowers boss tempted Lock back into the fold in March.

Lock, who counts Maldon & Tiptree among his former clubs, appeared in a Bowers shirt on five occasions and bagged his only goal for the club in a 4-0 triumph over Felixstowe & Walton United seven days after Small’s outfit were crowned the Isthmian North champions.

Campbell is also a free agent after seeing his time at Bowers come to an end.

The striker made two appearances for the club following his move from Romford in March.

Campbell switched from Romford to provide cover with frontman Lewis Manor ruled out until the end of the season.

But Campbell failed to find the back of the net following his transfer.

The trio follow Andy Wilton in leaving Bowers.

Wilton kept a club-record number of clean sheets in his solitary season at the Len Salmon Stadium.

But the goalkeeper, who joined from Norwich United last summer, has relocated to Norfolk and was unable to continue with Bowers.

Callum Chafer has been the only arrival since the end of the campaign.

Chafer has returned to Bowers for a second spell after a season with Hornchurch.
