JOHN Coventry insists East Thurrock United must get back to winning ways when they visit Hemel Hempstead Town tomorrow.
Rocks missed out on the chance to climb out of the National League South drop zone when they were defeated by Oxford City last weekend.
And Coventry is looking for a reaction when East Thurrock face a Hemel side who are bottom of the division’s form guide over the last six outings.
“If we were to win then we will have claimed three victories out of four games,” said the Rocks boss.
“We need to win against Hemel but it’s important to have the right frame of mind.
“We just want to get points on the board and I don’t care whether they come at home or away.
“You could look at the form guide and say that Hemel have not been in great form, but they aren’t playing for anything.
“I always rather playing teams that I playing for something because it gives the games an edge.”
