GARRY Kimble says Great Wakering Rovers will be boosted by a new striker joining the club before tomorrow’s trip to high-flying Coggeshall Town.
Marcus Bowers has left the reigning Essex Senior League champions and joined Walthamstow after failing to make a telling impact following his switch from Basildon United.
And although Kimble admitted a trip to fellow newly-promoted side Coggeshall - who are fourth in the Isthmian North - will be tough, he is hoping a new signing could make a difference.
“I would like to thank chairman Dave Patient, president Roger Burroughs, treasurer Elaine Pitts and the committee in allowing us to hopefully make the signing,” said the Wakering boss.
“I think it is a really good signing and hopefully he can make an impact because we know Coggeshall are a really good side.
“It is going to be hard for us, but we will apply ourselves right and look to get a positive result.”
