LOOKING AHEAD: East Thurrock United are aiming to make it back-to-back home victories as Bath City make the trip to Corringham.
Although Rocks have lost six of their seven matches to date, they were victorious a week ago against newly-promoted Slough Town with an impressive rearguard display enough to secure the points.
Bath lie in fifth but have been inconsistent in the early weeks of the season. The south west team have accrued four wins and three defeats so far, albeit two of those were in the first week of term.
All three of Bath’s away matches so far have ended 1-0, with them on the losing side once.
Can Rocks extend that streak with a repeat of the 1-0 win they managed last weekend tomorrow?
MANAGER’S VIEW: “We need to ride out this spell and keep working hard,” said manager John Coventry. “I am optimistic as I think the players we have are better than what the league table says.
“Bath are a tough side and it will be very difficult. They are fifth having lost three times and I’m pleased it looks as though it will be tight this season. It gives me hope we can cling on.”
TEAM NEWS: Lewis Knight will join St Albans City.
