Team effort - Warren Primary School
FOOTBALL: A Chafford Hundred School’s girls football team is celebrating after winning the league and cup double.
Warren Primary School’s Year 5/6 girls triumphed in the Thurrock Football Association League and Cup, under the guidance of sports coach Kerry Girt.
Ian Broyd, the school’s headteacher, said: “Everyone at the school is extremely proud of the girls. They have supported each other and showed commitment.”
The girls also won the ThurrockSSP tournament at the beginning of the season.
The team is made up of Tilly McCandless, Macey Nicholls, Ndidi Okwechime, Chizara Okocha, Sophie Juson, Amy Celaj, Gracie Robinson and Olivia Vickers.
