ENGLAND Rugby player Emily Scott returned to her old stomping ground last week as she visited friends at Stanford Rugby Club.
Scott, who has featured in both of England Women’s first two games of this year’s Six Nations, started her career at the club and she came bearing gifts.
The Olympian met club chairman Kyran McDonald and first team captain Calum Reid, handing over the rugby jersey she wore on her full international debut as well as her Rio Olympics jersey, where she competed in the Rugby Sevens.
A club spokesperson said: “Stanford Rugby Club wishes Emily every success in her blossoming career and eagerly await her return at a Stanford Sirenettes training session.”
