Redbridge 0-3 Thurrock
From Oakside
Ryman One North
THURROCK scored three second half goals to keep them second in the Ryman One North and relegate sorry Redbridge.
Ross Wall, David Cowley and Lewwis Spence scored the goals for Mark Stimson’s men, who were worthy winners on the day.
Defeat meant relegation for Redbridge while Thurrock needed a win as they attempted to secure a top three finish and a home play-off semi-final.
And Fleet were the dominant side, with only an inspired performance from Redbridge stopper Nicklas Freund keeping the hosts level as long as it took the first goal to come.
Wall scored two minutes shy of the hour mark with Cowley in the 72nd minute and Spence with two minutes remaining wrapping up the result.
Thurrock: Madden, Morgan, L Clark, Baker, Sutton, Toner, J Clark, Spence, Wall, Winn, Cowley
