Cray Wanderers 4-1 Tilbury
From Hayes Lane
Ryman One North
TILBURY were thumped 4-1 by Cray Wanderers on their final away day of the season.
Gary Henty’s side were comprehensively beaten by the Kent side on Sunday, with the three points securing Cray’s position in the league next season.
Chris Piper put the hosts ahead after only 15 minutes when the ball dropped to him from a corner, with Alex Teniola slotting home well to double the advantage four minutes before half-time.
But Neil Richmond bundled home before the half was up to hand the Dockers a fighting chance.
Teniola and Adrian Stone added late goals to make sure the points stayed in Kent.
Tilbury’s misery was compounded when Richmond was dismissed but remain in 14th after the result.
