THURROCK made it three wins out of three with a five wicket win away at Little Baddow.
The hosts batted first and reached a competitive score of 258 from their 45 overs thanks to Andy Harris’ 87.
Rob Neal picked up three wickets from six overs for the visitors, but the pick of the bowlers were Clarke Wren (2-26) and Daniel Laird (1-26) – they bowled 12 overs each and had nine maidens between them. But their fellow bowlers struggled.
Thurrock won thanks to Umar Ayub’s 87 and Laird’s 85. Thurrock now sit top of the T Rippon Mid-Essex Premier Division and are 15 points clear of nearest challengers Aythorpe Roding.
