BULPHAN & Briscoe Pilgrims have been crowned champions of division one of the Basildon & Thurrock Badminton League.
The Pilgrims dropped just one game throughout the whole season, winning 19.
The runners-up Chafford trailed with 14 wins and six losses.
In the men’s division two, things were much tighter with Bulphan’s second team emerging victorious with 15 wins and five losses.
The battle for second resulted in three teams each having 13 wins and seven losses with East Thurrock ultimately taking the runners-up spot thanks to their superior points difference over Eversley C and Davic.
In the Mixed American competition, East Thurrock ran out winners ahead of Barstable while Bulphan & Briscoe secured their third title of the season in the Men’s Fours, finishing two points ahead of Chafford.
