TRAINS are being disrupted across south Essex due to a fire near the tracks.
c2c rail have stated several trains will be delayed at Grays due to a fire taking place near the tracks.
The company has advised people to check train times before travelling as it is not known how long the delays will last.
They said on Twitter: "We're sorry to say that due to a fire next to the track between Barking - Grays, this is having an impact across the whole c2c network."
The fire has already delayed the 12.12 Southend Central to London Fenchurch Street, as well as the 12.40 Grays to London and 12.41 London to Southend Central.
The cause of the fire remains unknown.
Update 3.44pm: The fire has been extinguished and the trains have resumed/
