A man injured his hand after he was threatened at knife point by thieves attempting to steal his moped.
The victim's Honda SH125i was parked outside KFC restaurant in West Thurrock Way, Grays, at 7pm on Wednesday December 6, when two men broke the steering lock and attempted to steal it.
The owner, 25, was standing nearby and challenged them.
A third suspect, who was on a red Yamaha NMax125, threatened the owner with a knife. The victim ran off and fell over, suffering minor grazing to his hands.
The other two suspects ran off towards Frankie and Benny’s and the moped was not taken
