Police have released an e-fit of a man they wish to identify after a 13-year old girl reported 'suspicious behaviour' in Grays.
The man stopped his red van in Southend Road, Stanford-le-Hope at around 8.15am on Thursday July 16 to speak to a 13-year-old girl.
The teenager found his behaviour suspicious and ran away.
The suspect is described as white, with black tattoos on his right arm near to his elbow. He has short brown hair, an athletic build and was wearing a red T shirt and shorts.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Pc Larry Litchfield at Grays Police station on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
