Marks & Spencer has quietly discontinued a popular bakery item, leaving shoppers disappointed.
The White Chocolate & Raspberry Cookies, described as "top tier" by fans, have now been removed from shelves.
The cookies, which are a blend of white chocolate and freeze-dried raspberries, were a seasonal summer product and are now being phased out.

Shoppers shared their disappointment on social media after noticing their disappearance from stores.
On Reddit, one fan wrote: "Gutted, they were absolutely amazing."
Another said: "What!!! I loved them.
"I even introduced them to all my family and friends who also loved them."
A third commented: "Absolutely criminal these were top tier."
Marks & Spencer has since confirmed that the cookies are being phased out from stores right now, but they could return in the future.
A spokesperson for M&S said: "At M&S Food we are constantly innovating and refreshing our range, reacting to trends and customer feedback.
"We have a great selection of cookies available in our Foodhalls, including the popular white and milk chocolate – with more exciting launches to come.
"Although our White Chocolate & Raspberry Cookies are currently not available, we always listen to customer feedback when reviewing future ranges."
The supermarket chain assured shoppers that its classic cookie flavours remain in stock year-round.
Milk Chocolate, Triple Chocolate, and White Chocolate cookies will continue to be available in the bakery section.
Walkers discontinues popular crisp flavour
In other food news, Walkers has confirmed its Max Strong Hot Chicken Wings crisps have been discontinued, much to the disappointment of shoppers.
One person, posting on X (formerly Twitter), said: "@walkers_crisps have you stopped selling the walkers max hot wings flavour?"
A Walkers spokesperson replied: "Hi, sadly they're being discontinued, but they've been replaced by our Walkers MAX KFC Original Recipe Chicken flavour.
"We hope you'll give them a try and enjoy them just as much!"
Walkers' Max Hot Wings crisps were first released in the UK in January 2018, and have received rave reviews.
One review on the Sainsbury's website reads: "These crisps are getting harder to find so when on special offer I grab a few packs.
"These are my only crisps that I buy just love them."

Another shopper added: "I enjoy the fire max range but out of them all, this one is the best."
A third fan described Walkers' Max Hot Wings crisps as "addictive".
