The PlayStation5 is the most sought-after gadget on the planet right now with gamers desperately trying to get their hands on a new console.

Following its November release, Brits have found it nearly impossible to find Sony’s latest gaming console.

But UK gaming fans have been given hope with rumours that there could be a PS5 restock today.

The Independent are reporting that Very is likely to have a restock soon.

They usually restock the consoles every two or three weeks, but haven’t updated their stock since September 14.

In the past the store has restocked on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 9am and 11am.

An insider Twitter account is claiming that John Lewis are set to receive new stock tomorrow.

With around 1,000 consoles expected to be received on October 15.

It said: “John Lewis expects to receive PlayStation 5 consoles on October 15, indicating a possible online restock a few days before or after the 15th.

“Disc & Digital Editions are expected”.

Around 700 disc editions are the consoles are expected, and 300 digitial editions of the console.

Meanwhile, EE customers are able to register their interest in a PlayStation 5 ahead of 4pm on October 24 when you will be able to add it to your plan.

Sony sold 4.5 million PlayStation 5 units in 2020 amid high demand for the next-generation console in the lead-up to Christmas.

It is the same amount as the Japanese tech giant sold of its predecessor, the PlayStation 4, when it launched in 2013.
