EAST Thurrock MP Angela Smith will visit the Thurrock Re-Use Project on Tuesday.
The Labour MP will be taken around the project's base on the Thames Industrial Estate in East Tilbury to see the work of the charity which encourages the re-use of furniture and equipment.
Mrs Smith said: “This is an invaluable service for community groups and those in need, but also great for the environment – it stops unwanted items being dumped or going to landfill sites.
"I am delighted to have been invited to see for myself this excellent initiative.
"I will be taking the opportunity of my visit to encourage more people to come forward as volunteers to help out.”
