STIFFORD Community Forum will hold its annual meeting at the Baptist Church Hall, Premier Avenue, Sockets Heath on Monday, October 27, Grays at 7.30 pm. The evening will also feature the open meeting, to which residents of of North Grays Ward, Stifford Clays, Blackshots and Woodside Estates are invited.

Local councilors and neighbourhood police representatives will also be in attendance.

Main speaker for the evening will be Mark Davies, director of primary care for the South West Essex Primary Care Trust. He will be giving a presentation on the new Medical Care Centre proposed for Grays town centre. Also speaking will be a representative from Thurrock’s Horticultural Department who will give a presentation on grant money for playing fields in Thurrock for eight to 13-year-olds.

The Forum is looking for representatives from clubs, faiths and organisations who are part of north Grays to become committee members, also individuals who are passionate with the area.
