THURROCK Council planners have rejected a bid to demolish the Anchor pub in Tilbury and replace it with a three storey block of flats.
The building would contain four two bedroom maisonettes, eleven one bedroom flats, one two bedroom flat and an A1 commercial space and a two storey terrace of six two bedroom houses with associated car parking, refuse and cycle storage.
