THE Belhus Medical Practice in South Ockendon has moved to new premises on Derry Road.
The practice was located on Fortin Path but had to be moved as space was too tight, with limited office and waiting room space and no car parking or disabled facilities.
Elizabeth McClean, 78, one of the first patients to register at the practice when it opened 28 years ago, cut the ribbon at the new surgery on Monday.
She said: “This new building is wonderful and will make a big difference. The people at the practice are very caring and always have a smile – I am so glad that they and their patients now have a new building.”
The practice, which is keeping the same catchment area, is open to new patients.
