METROPOLITAN Police are looking for two men, possibly with Thurrock connections, who are being sought for using violent behaviour in Islington and Tower Hamlets.
On September 17 the men were passengers in a red Ford Fiesta when they confronted a family in a road rage incident.
Later they assaulted a bus driver and damaged his bus using a tyre lever in a separate incident before being confronted by police where they again wielded the tyre lever before making their escape.
The red Ford Fiesta has since been retrieved and police intelligence has identified regular movement of it into Grays via Greenwich, which may suggest a Thurrock link that could lead to their identification.
The Met Police's Transport Operational Command Unit is working in partnership with Transport for London and London bus companies to identify and arrest offenders of bus criminal damage and assaults on Staff.
The Transport Operational Command Unit have a proactive team called the Image Circulation Unit (ICU) which is dedicated to identifying through on-bus Closed Circuit Television , arresting and bringing to justice individuals who have committed crime.
