VILLAGERS in Bulphan braved the rain this morning to take part in an autumn fun day.
Events included planting throughout the village, a plant sale, raffle and plant auction and a winter garden demonstration by Sandra Norris.
The event was organised by Bulphan in Bloom and though the weather was poor, a hardy crew were busy from early in the morning, filling plants, tidying up and planting trees and bulbs for the spring.
The conclusion of the events was Bulphan in Bloom’s annual meeting.
Chair Kelly Fiford said: “Though the weather wasn’t good we are grateful to those who turned out and also all the people and companies who donated plants, trees and bulbs.”
