A MAN who crashed into a motorcyclist, killing him, and then ran off has been jailed.
Terry May, 29 of Plashet Grove, Plaistow was driving the stolen VW van when the crash happened.
He struck biker Stephen Fielder on the A13 near to the Stifford Interchange.
Mr Fielder lost control of his bike, hit a road sign and died.
May fled the scene.
He pleaded guilty to a string of motoring offences today and was jailed for eight months and banned from driving for two years.
