A SALON superstar from Thurrock won a trip to Portugal after scooping a Regis International Presidents Award.
Salon manager of Supercuts at Lakeside Shopping Centre, Stacy Baldock, 25, from East Tilbury, was whisked away on a business trip to Portugal in September.
Stacy said: “I had a wonderful trip and met some lovely new friends.
“It was my 25th birthday whilst I was away and it was certainly one I will never forget.”
Salon managers from the REGIS group compete annually for the President’s Awards, which are judged on the achievement of significant improvement in salon sales, coupled with outstanding commitment and the delivery of high levels of customer care.
Stacy was one of 213 managers from around the world, only nine of whom came from Britain, to be awarded the prestigious prize.
She spent a week visiting Lisbon’s Old Town and sights such as Museu Nacional de Arquelogia.
All of the winners stayed in a luxury hotel, where they also had the opportunity to attend seminars and exchange hairdressing techniques and experiences with other successful salon managers.
