RESIDENTS at the Piggs Corner Sheltered Housing Complex in Grays were treated to curry, beef stew and dumplings on Halloween night.
A raffle on the evening raised £67, which was split between cancer and asthma chairites.
Sheltered housing officer Elizabeth Roberts said: “All the residents who attended had a great night.
“I cooked chicken curry, beef stew and dumplings rice and peas and jacket potatoes with three types of fillings.
“I am please it went well and it was worth all the effort.
“I must say I was very tired after all that cooking and rounding around but it was well worth it.”
