FUNDRAISERS for a borough village school literally went through hoops today as they helped raise cash for an extension.
A netball rally at Horndon on the Hill Primary School proved a big success as teams of staff, parents and friends of the school enjoyed a tournament and barbecue.
The event was organised by the Friend of Horndon School and featured four teams, who paid to play - with a host or parents and pupils turning up to watch and enjoy the fun.
“The Friends of the School are wonderful,” said head Sue Hughes. “They put on so many events for us and really show how the school is at the centre of its community.”
