ON Wednesday, October 8 after visiting South Thorndon Country Park and leaving at approximately 6pm I realised that my car tyre had a puncture.
Stopping on the Half Way House interchange over the A127 to carry out a wheel change, I was more than pleasantly surprised that on three occasions over a period of 20 minutes people stopped to enquire if I needed assistance, declining on each occasion.
I would like to thank those people, presumably going home from work, who put themselves out to stop and enquire if I needed help, showing the world is not all bad and restoring my faith in human nature.
