CELEBRATION: Ruth cuts her cake
WEST Thurrock and South Stifford over 50's club had a small celebration on September 22, to congratulate Mrs Ruth Clark on reaching the grand age of 90 years.
Ruth and members of the club enjoyed a small buffet with a birthday cake, cards, flowers and a present of a bottle of bubbly. They also had an entertainer to celebrate the occasion.
The club has been running for five years this month and is held at Cowdray Hall, West Thurrock, every Monday (except bank holidays) between 2-4pm at a cost of 50p, which includes a drink & nibbles.
