SPEAKERS for September at Springhouse Co-operative Womens Guild were Helen Leonard on “Her life as a child within the walls of Tower of London.”
Margaret and Brian Tester gave a very interesting Audio/ Visual presentation of photographs together with appropriate music of various subjects ranging from 60th anniversary of the end of World War Two, through gardens, children, and also towns.
A collection for Essex Air Ambulance Yellow week raised £107. Members were reminded of the Christmas bazaar on November 29.
