PUPILS at Hassenbrook School raised £740 for Little Havens Children’s Hospice through the various fundraising events they have organised over the last year.
Students from Brunel House at the school in Stanford-le-Hope handed over the cheque to Little Havens’ Community Fundraiser Donna Byrne at an assembly on Tuesday October 7.
Donna said: “It was really lovely to have had the opportunity to meet the pupils who had put in so much hard work in fundraising for Little Havens.
“The donation was a complete shock and on behalf of the children, families and staff at the hospice I would like to say a heartfelt thank you.”
