THE Fat Surfer club on London Road in Grays is celebrating the eighth anniversary of its opening on Friday with a big party.
The event will feature bands and DJs that have played at the venue over the last eight years including Whoremoan and DJs Alex Mac and Gwi T.
Promoter Stuart Whiffen said: “The venue is firmly stamped on the UK gigging circuit and has seen some fantastic acts over recent years.
“Friday will be a celebration for everyone past and present that has got sweaty and jumped around at the only weekly live music venue in Thurrock.”
The doors open at 8pm and entry is £5, people are advised to get there early as there is only room for 200 people.
