BOROUGH Libraries are offering readers the chance to meet an author as part of their continuing celebrations for the National Year of Reading.

If you enjoy reading thrillers that keep you on the edge of your seat then book your place for author Will Adams at Stanford-le-Hope Library on Wednesday October 29 at 7.30pm.

Writer of best selling The Alexander Cipher and the soon to be published The Exodus Quest, Will Adams plunges the reader into the mysterious secrets of the past as his characters search for ancient artefacts and the power and wealth, or more commonly the death and destruction that they may bring.

Portfolio Holder for Community, Culture and Leisure, Councillor Joy Redsell, said: "This is a fantastic, fun and unique opportunity to meet a real writer and explore together the shared enjoyment for reading and writing."

Book your place for this event (tickets are just £1) from Stanford-le-Hope Library on 01375 373244 and meet Will Adams for a thrilling evening discussing his latest title The Exodus Quest.

There will also be an opportunity to buy his books (supplied from Waterstones).
