A THURROCK woman is appealing for sponsors so that she can take a team of young dancers to Barcelona for the International Dance Federation World Championships.
Rosie Richards, from South Ockendon, is a team leader at dance school ‘I Love Salsa’ who will be representing Britain at the championships next year.
They are looking for sponsorship of any size, big or small as they hope to be able to take approximately 30 to 40 children to the contest along with 12 team leaders.
They also need Team GB tracksuits and dance costumes.
Last year the competition was held in Croatia but the dance school were only able to take five students due to the cost, but still walked away with first place in Latin Show youth.
