SECRETARIAL students from Palmer’s College battled to rescue colleagues who had been marooned on an island on Wednesday October 1.
The forty PA students spent the day climbing high ropes, building rafts and jumping the leap of faith as part of a team building exercise at Stubbers Adventure Island in Upminster.
Part of the day involved the students working competitively in teams to rescue marooned colleagues, and also tunnelling and other various team activities.
Margaret Salton, Curriculum Manager for Business at Palmer’s said: “It was a fantastic day, the students participated with great enthusiasm and after a long and tiring day, many agreed that they had surprised themselves with their new-found abilities.”
