A CORRINGHAM woman was part of a team that completed the 26th annual JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge Championship race in the ‘Big Apple’ on Saturday October 4.
HSBC employee, Sarah Eves of Williamson Way, lined up with her team mates from the bank on New York City’s Park Avenue to compete against runners from the 31 best women’s corporate teams from cities around the world.
Among others there were teams from Sydney, Johannesburg, Singapore, Chicago, Rochester, Buffalo, Frankfurt, New York, Syracuse, Boston, London and San Francisco competing.
The HSBC team finished 4th overall in the 3.5 mile race with a combined time of 91 minutes and two seconds.
Sarah knocked 28 seconds off of her time in the previous heat in London running the race in 24 minutes and 28 seconds.
