PUPILS at Quarry Hill Infant and Pre-School took part in a fun family sponsored walk to raise money for the school.
All the children took part and walked a total of 3000 metres in one hour on Friday October 10.
They are trying to raise money for a new sports kit for the children and various other projects.
The event was organised by Healthy Schools Co-ordinator Darren Lynn, as part of his drive to make the school a healthier place.
Mr Lynn said: "All the children and parents really tried hard and appeared to have a fun time in the sun."
