British pop-rock icons McFly are set to headline Chelmsford’s Summer Series this August.
The band will perform in Central Park as part of the festival’s line-up, bringing their high-energy performance and popular hits on Saturday, August 29.
McFly, formed in 2003, are known for several hit singles, including Five Colours in Her Hair, All About You, and Obviously.
Craig David will also perform at the same venue the next day, Sunday, August 30 at the New World Festival, also part of the Chelmsford Summer Series.
The band have achieved four consecutive UK number-one albums.

More artists should be announced to complete the line-up for the August bank holiday weekend event.
The Summer Series festival is expected to be one of Chelmsford's most anticipated live music events of the year, alongside State Fayre in Hylands Park in June.
Tickets go on sale next week, and fans can sign up to a pre-sale now.
Summer Series is set to take place from Saturday, August 29, to the Monday of August Bank Holiday, which falls on August 31 this year.
