A logistics firm wants to increase the number of goods vehicles and trailers it keeps at a Tilbury operating centre.

The application, made by DRS Logistics Ltd, seeks to add two more goods vehicles and two additional trailers to its fleet at Goldstar Transport Ltd, Fortress Distribution Park, Fort Road.

The Traffic Commissioner is inviting written representations from owners or occupiers of land (including buildings) near the operating centre(s) who believe their use or enjoyment of that land would be affected by the proposed changes.

Submissions must be made within 21 days of the notice's publication date, and the same must be sent to the applicant at 5 Hodgkinson Road, Felixstowe.

A company is looking to expand its fleet in Grays.

Raul AC Trans Limited, based in East Tilbury, wants to add four more goods vehicles and four trailers to its existing operator's licence.

If approved, these additional vehicles will be stationed at Brieres Farm, Manshroodt Road, Grays.

The company is currently seeking approval for this change.

People living near the operating centre who believe the change could affect their property or quality of life have the right to express their concerns.

They can do this by writing to the Traffic Commissioner at Quarry House, Quarry Hill, Leeds.

Such representations must be made within 21 days of September 18, when the notice was first published.
