Essex fly-over of world-famous Red Arrows in pictures

After joining several Armed Forces Day events demonstrating their renowned flying skills, the RAF display team notorious for their crimson jets were spotted across Essex today as they soared to join the Headcorn Battle of Britain Airshow from Southend.

The famous jets were spotted in numerous Essex towns after they flew into Southend Airport before departing later on Sunday afternoon, here are pictures captured of the fly-over:
