A global logistics company with a base in south Essex has been named Port Company of the Year for the third consecutive time.
DP World scooped the accolade at the 2025 Multimodal Awards in Birmingham, as part of a hat-trick of wins.
The company also won Sustainability Company of the Year and Customs Technology Partner of the Year.
The awards recognise DP World's leadership in ports, sustainability, and digital trade.
The company has had a significant year in the UK, marked by the opening of a £350 million all-electric fourth berth at London Gateway.
The company also moved 100,000 containers by rail as part of the Modal Shift Programme and registered more than 150,000 containers on the world's first Carbon Inset Programme.

The company's digital trade subsidiary, Community Network Services (CNS), was recognised for its cloud-based customs and freight management services, earning the title of Customs Technology Partner of the Year.
CNS's services aim to streamline supply chain workflows and customs, giving businesses full visibility of their entire cargo journey from source to destination.
