Film fans have the opportunity to grab a piece of comic book history at a cinema in south Essex this summer.
Vue in Thurrock is hosting a special Superman Hero Screening on Friday, July 11, to coincide with the release of the new Superman film.
The exclusive screening will see every booking receive a copy of All Star Superman No.1 – the comic that inspired James Gunn's new film.
Tickets are on sale now, with the limited edition comic book only available while stocks last.
The film, expected to be a new take on the franchise, introduces David Corenswet as Clark Kent and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane.
Ryan Boucher, general manager at Vue Thurrock, said: "We know how excited audiences are for James Gunn’s interpretation of Superman.
"This exclusive screening gives fans the rare opportunity to take home a special piece of cinematic history - the very comic issue that helped shape the film’s story."
The All Star Superman No.1 giveaway is one comic per booking, not per ticket, and only applies to tickets purchased for the Superman Hero Screening on July 11.
For the avoidance of doubt, this does not apply to Superman screenings without the Hero Screening tag.
