Drivers are facing severe delays on the M25 and part of the Dartford Crossing this evening rush hour as all traffic has been held amid an "incident".
UPDATE: The road was re-opened before 6pm. It had been shut due to a broken down vehicle.
All traffic is being held before the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge due to an incident.
There is congestion back to before junction 30 on the M25.
The AA is reporting severe delays of 50 minutes which are increasing on the M25 clockwise between junction 29 and junction 1A due to this incident, with a reported average speed of five mph.
A National Highways spokesman said: "The A282 QEII Bridge is CLOSED southbound at the Dartford Crossing due to a police led incident.
"Emergency services are in attendance. Expect significant delays on approach."
