MOTORISTS faced rush hour delays and heavy traffic on the M25 in South Essex due to a crash.
First reported at 6.05pm today, there were severe delays on the M25 due to a crash on the M25 near the J30 A13 at Lakeside.
Traffic control reported on this incident and stated there were "severe delays" and congestion.
They said: "M25: Road blocked, crash, severe delays, congestion.
"Road blocked and severe delays due to crash on M25 clockwise at J30 A13 Lakeside/Purfleet.
"There is congestion to J28 Brentwood and Brook Street Roundabout.
"All trapped traffic has been released."
Essex Police has been contacted regarding the crash.
