A CYCLIST suffered injuries after a rush-hour crash involving a car, prompting the launch of a police investigation.
Essex Police were called to Chadwell St Mary, in Thurrock, at about 5.50am on November 21 following reports of a collision.
According to the force, a blue Ford Fiesta and a cyclist were involved in a crash in Cedar Road at the junction with Heath Road.
The biker, a man in his 40s, suffered injuries as a result which required treatment.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: “Anyone with information or any witnesseses can contact us at Chigwell Roads Policing Unit quoting incident 976 of 21 November.
“Contact us by calling 101, submitting an online report or using our online Live Chat service available Monday to Friday between 10am and 9pm.”
